Prices start at approximately $5200 per person for a 7-night trip, including hotel(s), all meals, all ground transportation, museum admissions, day trips, etc. - in other words, everything but airfare.

This price is based on you and a companion traveling together and sharing a double room.

Airfare is extra and will depend on your point of embarkation and the time of year we're traveling.

The price also includes all the services I provide:

  • working with you to plan all the facets of your trip
  • creating a detailed itinerary
  • making all the travel arrangements
  • meeting with you in person before our departure, if geographically feasible
  • meeting you at the airport in Boston, Philadelphia or New York and flying with you to France
  • accompanying you at all times you desire during the trip

The final price of your trip will depend on the itinerary you and I design together. Some of the things that will affect the price include:

  • the number of people traveling (you can travel alone with me, or you can bring along one or two companions)
  • the level of accommodation you choose (e.g., 3 or 4-star hotel)
  • the level of ground transportation you choose (e.g., 1st or 2nd class train, van or private car to and from the airport, taxis or private car around Paris)
  • the type of meals you desire (e.g., if you want to eat only in cafes and bistros or if you want to dine at some Michelin-starred restaurants)
  • the number of day trips from Paris
  • the need for any specialized guides

I am also available to do itinerary planning and/or to consult with you about a trip to France you might want to take on our own. Following an initial conversation, when we can discuss what, if any, services you would like me to provide, my rate is $50 per hour.
